Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Materials Packaging or Re-packaging

  • Packaging regulated Dangerous Goods into the appropriate Means of Containment
  • Applying Markings and Labels in accordance with Transport Canada Regulations
  • Assist with completing shipping documents to ensure the Dangerous Goods arrive at the location without being delayed due to compliance issues
  • Co-ordinating shipping and transport for any Dangerous Goods (excluding explosives)

Detained or Rejected Dangerous Goods Shipments (Transport Canada, Environment Canada, CFIA, CBSA) 

  • Liaising with governing bodies to determine the cause of the detention notice
  • Establishing contact with the port, airport or any other private company/organization in current possession of your shipment of Dangerous Goods
  • Correcting shipping documents (ie: 24hr number, improper shipping name, reformatting document, etc.)
  • Rectifying shipment to become compliant with governing body (repackaging, applying correct UN numbers, shipping name, etc. or any other cause for non-compliance)

Hazardous Waste Management

  • Remote initial assessment and/or consult by on-site hazmat technician to inventory hazardous waste.
  • Testing unknown hazardous waste or chemicals to determine the classification (what the product is) so that product is able to be transported and disposed of at a licenced hazardous waste facility
  • Assistance with waste manifests in accordance with Transport Canada
  • Managing the pick-up, transport and disposal of the hazardous waste and/or chemicals

Chemical Project Management

  • Initial assessment of chemicals on site
  • Categorize and inventory products
  • Build out SOP’s for workers safety and productivity
  • Lab packing services
  • Organize and complete transport and paperwork for products to be disposed of

Spill Management and Assessments

  • If you have a spill, call our Hazmat and Special Projects Manager @ 604-368-6316
  • Initial Assessment, we can provide remote and/or On-site assistance.
  • On or off-road spill remediation. Utilizing hand tools or heavy machinery. (Excavators, hydrovacs, trucking services)
  • Pre and post soil sampling to ensure remediation is in full compliance with Ministry of Environment Regulations
  • Returning site to its previous condition pre spill.

Hazardous Lab Packing

  • Initial Assessment, remote or onsite consulting
  • Inventory management of the Dangerous Goods
  • Testing unknown products to obtain classification
  • Packaging the Dangerous Goods in UN approved Means of Containments suitable for transport
  • Completing shipping documents compliant with Transport Canada

Site Cleanups

  • Initial Assessment
  • 3rd party lab pre dig soil sampling to determine the extent of contamination
  • Partnering with engineering professionals to ensure safe and effective remediation of the area is completed
  • Post clean up area sampling to obtain proof that area was sufficiently cleaned
