Over the past few years security concerns and the need for heightened security have become a necessity. 9-11, Oklahoma, London, etc. have made everyone realize how vulnerable we are.

This concern is no different when we look at the dangerous commodities that are being transported worldwide. How accessible is it for the wrong people to get their hands on these goods?

The U.S. has put forth a regulation, HM 232, that addresses these concerns. This is a regulation that is to protect people and to make sure dangerous goods (hazmat) get to their destination safely.

Whether a shipment is originating in the U.S. or from any other country, this law must be taken seriously.

Global Hazmat provides onsite Security audits and evaluations to enable companies to comply and still move their goods. We will work with a company to ensure that all components of the security regulation are met. This includes security breaches, evaluation of the location and transport units, security clearance, and completing the required Security plan.

This is for all consignors (shippers) and carriers currently shipping within or to the U.S.
